EU Proposes New Automotive Safety Rules

According to CNN, new cars sold in Europe after 2022 will require a device to prevent speeding.

Under new safety rules adopted by the European Union, all new vehicles will require an intelligent speed assistance system as standard equipment.

The European Commission said that they are applying the new safety rule to cut down on car crashes caused by human error.

The new rules will also require vehicles to have crash data recorders and reversing cameras.
