Talks With Labour Party Stall, As May's Request To Delay Brexit Fails To Convince EU

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, Britain's opposition Labour Party said that talks with the government to reach a last-ditch Brexit deal had stalled, as EU leaders said that Prime Minister Theresa May had not convinced them the they should allow Britain to delay its scheduled departure next week.

May reportedly wrote to Brussels asking leaders in the European Union to postpone Britain's exit from next Friday until June 30th.
