Elon Musk's space company SpaceX on Thursday (July 25) successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying one of its Dragon spacecraft.

SpaceX launches resupply mission to the ISS

The Dragon is on a mission to the International Space Station to deliver supplies including scientific gear and a new docking adapter.

Docking at the ISS is expected on Saturday (July 27).

NASA called it a "great launch" with clear weather in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
