Johnson Forced Into Brexit Retreat
PM Boris Johnson has retreated from threats to break a law forcing him to seek a Brexit delay in October.
Johnson would have broken the rule if he is unable to secure a deal.
Downing Street sources had initially indicated they would "sabotage" the legislation or ignore it.
The prime minister has now indicated to colleagues he will obey the law.
He will also seek an extension if it is forced on him by the courts.
