(SOUNDBITE) (English) MANCHESTER UNITED MANAGER OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER, SAYING: "I'm just working as planned - business as usual - we're trying to improve the team, we're trying to work towards something, but of course we're heading somewhere we feel but we need results, and we need to expect the players to come out and prove why they're at Man United." STORY: Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says it's 'business as usual' for his team on Friday (October 18) ahead of their weekend fixture against high-flying arch-rivals Liverpool.

The Norwegian has overseen the club's worst start to a top-flight season in 30 years.

United have recorded two wins in their opening eight Premier League matches this season, slipping to 12th in the standings and two points about the relegation zone.

Solskjaer's position could come under increased pressure if rivals and league leaders Liverpool come away with all three points from their trip to Old Trafford on Sunday (October 20).

United are four points worse than at this stage last season under Jose Mourinho, who lost his job last December, but Solskjaer has backed his players to rediscover form in the upcoming games.

Solskjaer said it was time for his players to prove they deserve to be at the club whilst also praising the 'culture' he has tried to grow at the club.
