The photo is rare, as it is an unedited and unfiltered snapshot of the 39-year-old celebrity.

‘Allure’ describes the image as showing “slightly visible pores, some mild texture, and fine lines around her eyes and on her forehead".

The photo has since gone viral, receiving over 5,000 upvotes and nearly 200 comments on Reddit.

Many are hailing it as proof of the “high skin standards” enforced by the beauty industry .

"Literally no one on earth meets their standards of beauty.

Despite being constantly scrutinized for her looks, Kim has been open about her psoriasis in the past.

The condition causes her skin cells to rapidly build up and form dry patches.

According to Kim, she is “extremely comfortable” with her psoriasis.
