Senior Residents Receive a Floral Surprise

It's a welcome surprise amid the coronavirus pandemic

While it's officially spring..

It may not feel like it for many of us... with the colder weather and coronavirus keeping us cooped up.

Where kindness and genorosity are brightening the day for quarantined seniors á jessica.xxx georgeá today seniors here at the waters were surprised with more than 200 bouquets of flowers!

They were orginally meant for the galleria 2020 floral experience in the twin cities..

But when that was cancelled..

Organizers decided to donate the around 4á thousand flowers grown specifically for the event to nonáprofits.

Have you ever seen so many flowers!?

Never.

Never.

A garden of springtime blooms á bringing unexpected joy to senior living residents.

We were very surprised today, everybody gathered around here, we didn't even know about this until a few minutes ago.

A delivery of 205 flower bouquets including lillies and hydrangeas was made to the waters in rochester..

After the galleria floral experience with bachman's was cancelled in the twin cities.

Every day here we really try to spread joy and excitement and we're active and i think by having flowers brought to them in a surprise element it will just bring something new to their day.

The spread of coronavirus is what caused the cancellation..

But the show's beauty isn't taken for granted by seniors who have been quarintened..

It's such a kind thing for them to do and we hope the kindness continues for all of us in these difficult times.

We need each other to to treat each other with kindness and respect.

The blooms will now brighten the rooms of each and every resident at the waters..

Brightness is right.

It's what we need in our lives right now.

Colorful and fragrant reminders that life continues to bloom..

We thought it was very lovely all those beautiful flowers.

I can't believe all the different colors.

And kindness grows..even in times of uncertainty.

Having these flowers really brings a sense of normalcy that here are some flowers i'm going to enjoy and that i can get through this there are nine waters communities in minnesota..

All of them received deliveries from bachman's today.

Right now only "medically necessary visitors" are being allowed into the waters' community to prevent the spread of covidá19..

Making the floral deliveries all
