Today almost more than double yesterday's.

Governor andy beshear says there are 92 new cases in the commonwealth.

23 of which are in fayette county.

One of the cases is a one year old in fayette county.

Some good news...governor beshear says thankfully no deaths from covid-19 to report today.

Beshear says to focus on each other and protecting others.

"when i was elected last november i felt we were fractured and as seperated of a commonwealth as i have ever seen and i believe now we're more united than i've ever seen.

United in that the advisary we face every one has to work to protect those around us."

Governor beshear also announced the maximum for unemployment benefits will increase by $600.

And to encourage solidarity beshear asks everyone to ring any bell they might have at 10 a- m...each day.

As the number of coronavirus cases in the u.s. climbs above 100-thousand, a new rapid test could bring some hope.

That, and two medical ships are deploying to bring much needed bed space to hospitals in the some of the hardest hit areas.

President donald trump made the trip to norfolk, virginia saturday for the departure ceremony of the u-s-n-s comfort.

It is one of two naval hospital ships relocating to help ease the strain in some of the hard hit areas from the coronavirus.

The u-s-n-s mercy arrived in port of los angeles friday, and the president says the comfort should arrive in new york by monday.

New york governor andrew cuomo says patients who don't have covid-19 will be sent there -- freeing up space in city hospitals for people who do.

Saturday, trump said he is considering a mandatory quarantine for new york and surrounding areas.

Short term.

Two weeks.

New york.

Probably new jersey, certain parts.

And connecticut."

Moments after the remark, cuomo said he had not spoken to the president about that.
