Maximus c1 3 protect employees from the coronavirus.

The company has temporarily closed twice in the last week to take safety steps...most recently today after it says a worker presumably tested positive.

But some employees say the company needs to do more.

Abc 36's monica harkins talked to a worker who says she's scared to go back to work.

### "it's been a rough ride this week with maximus."

This woman works at maximus.

She asked us to conceal her identity out of fear of losing her job.

From here she'll be referred to as 'employee one.'

8 ish "i mean, i like my job and everything, but at the same time, if they're gonna do this and how they're handling things.

Is it really worth staying there?"

She says last monday employees were notified the call center was closing for sanitation.

She says they were called back to work thursday.

She says on sunday, they learned an employee is believed to have tested positive for the coronavirus.

She says she's concerned because of the working conditions.

2 ish "a bunch of people were too scared to return, including myself."

She felt something had to be done.

8 ash "i ended up making a petition to see if we could get it to go through and to see if we could get the doors shut down longer than two days for sanitation.

The petition has about 120 signatures.

In a statement i received from maximus, the company doesn't say when it will re-open, but urges those who are sick or dont feel comfortable returning to work...to stay home.

Despite that option...'employee one' says she's still scared.

8 ash "i have to provide for my family.

At the same time, do i want to take the risk, and bring something that could possibly kill me and my family home?"
