The Salvation Army is setting up donation bins to help families and first responders during the Coronavirus crisis.

People right now.

The organization wants to make sure the needs of community members, first responders, and government partners are met.

They have partnered with several area walmarts and pruett's to place donation bins inside each location.

These bins along with online donations will help families and those in need during this pandemic.

"when you see one of the barrels like the one behind me that says covid-19 food drive please be a little extra generous.

If you see canned proteins, food and vegetables anything like that pick up an extra couple cans and drop it in the food barrel" george says while all are impacted by the coronavirus outbreak, those who are living in poverty will likely feel the effects quicker and more significantly.

You can go to the salvation army's website for more information on donation bins and ways to give.
