Almost right across the street from our WKTV studios on Smith Hill Road, a neighbor is saying thank you to essential workers.
The street!
One of our neighbors saying thanks... brandon shrewsberry, an essential worker who lives on smith hill road.... is home on vacation wanted to build a sign to thank essential workers including doctors, nurses, prison workers, and others who are working in the frontline and let them know he cares.
He had some stuff laying around at his house, and then he went home depot to buy some supplies.
"i was talking to my buddy, i'm just like you know what let's build a sign to show support to all of us essential workers that still have to go to work, that are still on the front line, that are still doing everything that we do support you.
And we are happy that you are helping us."
Shrewsberry says it's definitely important to spread the word for the essential workers for all they are doing during this time.
