Houston County's TJ Morgan commits to Middle Georgia State

Hoco senior guard TJ Morgan has committed to Middle Georgia State, 12 days after receiving an offer from the school.

Now the last time i talked to houston county star point guard tj morgan ... he announced this on twitter ... he had just received his very first offer to play college basketball at middle georgia state university ... right in his back yard ... he couldn't believe it, especially after injuring his knee mid-season ... but he never threw in the towel ... he never gave up ... that tweet was sent out on april 9th ... now fast foward ... let's checkout his latest tweet ... tj has officially committed to the knights ... today marks exactly 12 days since he received his very first offer ... he nearly gave up on himself ... but now, he'll get a chance to hoop at the next level ... tj thanks the big man upstairs, his family, teachers, coaches and his teammates ... now dj ... roll the tape ... tj's a crafty lefty who can create his own shot and get others involved ... as you can see from the tape ...his jumper is butter ... he's a natural born leader who isn't scared to lead by example ... on and off the court ... tj averaged 12 points, fives steals and 3 dimes this past season ... he helped lead the bears to the sweet 16, as well as to their first- ever bear brawl and region championship ... tj morgan on line 5 ... :01-:06 well, i went on a visit yesterday with coach moe, and he just showed me around the campus and like showed me the locker room, the gym, the weight room, the dorms, everything.

And i just loved the campus.

Like, me and my family just loved the campus.

I loved everything about it.

I loved everything, so i just committed right there on spot that's what's up ... now the work is just beginning ... tj ... what are your expectations, bro?

I know what i bring to the table and i know what coach has.

I know his mindset towards the game, and i think that my abilities and his mindset toward the game are going to mix pretty well.

I'm excited about being far from home, but close to home at the same time.
