Is emergency money for the health system.

Waay 31's rodneya ross is live in downtown huntsville.

Rodneya -- the house of representatives could vote on the bill as early as tomorrow.

That's right and it could be on president trump's desk by the end of the week.

I'm in downtown huntsville which is home to several small businesses that could potentially receive some of the funding if law makers pass the bill.

Many small businesses applied for the paycheck protection program -- but didn't get any money because the program quickly ran out of money.

The program provides eight weeks of cash flow to small businesses.

Now businesses who applied are waiting to see if they'll get the funds the second time around.

Allison hall, allison jansen photography "i kinda feel like i'm in line right now, so i feel like i still have a little bit of hope, i'm in line, i've got my paper work in, i did everything i was supposed to do."

Right now -- the small business association is not accepting new applications for the paycheck protection program or the economic injury disaster loan.

But that will likely change if the new bill is passed by the house of representatives and then signed by the president.
