Area, but so too is the spirit of kindness.

Many local businesses right here in st.

Joseph are doing their part to help amid the coronavirus crisis.

Here's kq2's ron johnson with more.

<<social distancing, it's the two word phrase you've likely heard a lot about over the past month, but across st.

Joseph and around the country, another two word phrase is becoming just as popular.it's neat to just be a part of that.

Businesses, mainly eating establishments across town are stepping up, doing what they can, and perhaps what they do best to say thank you, to first responders and medical personnel in the frontlines of the fight against covid-19 we just want to thank them for all they do for us.

Whether its delivering pizzas to hospital staff we're starting with mosaic and kind of expanding from thereto turning happy meals into free thank you meals for first respondersthey may think it's a small gesture, but we're trying to just say thank you, thank you for being out there putting yourself out there for us we really appreciate it.

For those on the receiving end, they say the gesture is anything but small.it's just been a really wonderful time to experience that outpouring of thankfulness and people have been so generous.

We have a list of people that we ware trying to keep up with to say thank you to.

The st.

Joseph community proving that covid-19 isn't the only thing that can spread easily, so too can gratitude.any appreciation that we can show them i think goes so far.

Ron johnson kq2 news.>> there are many ways for you to do your part well, little caesar's staff's say customers can donate a pizza to a deserving recipient.

Also the mosaic life care foundation has resources for those willing to help.
