Amory Food Pantry Pizza Day Tuesday

Food insecurity could spike as layoffs mount around monroe county because of coronavirus is a concern.

So greg johnson and his wife,...owners of circle bar g... partnered with the amory food pantry and pizza hut to hand out free pizza to families for lunch this morning.

The group gave out a total of 161 pizzas from 9 to 11 a.m.

We cant receive we just want to do as much as we can for everybody we can we wanted to concentrate on the food pantry participates because of if we cant give we cant receive.

The turnout flowed smoothly throughout the morning and picked up toward the end.
