Senior Spotlight: Central Catholic Baseball
The Knights featured Seven Seniors in the Class of 2020

Knights had won 10 straight sectional crowns..

Tim bordenet has experienced a lot of success during his tenure as head coach..

This year obviously a little different..

C-c won't get a crack at getting back to familiar territory in the post-season..

But it was only there in the first place as bordenet says because of his seven seniors... the knights are next on our 20-20 senior spotlight..

The first senior is the school's all-time leading scorer on the basketball court..

Carson barrett played first base for central catholic.

And there he is as a youngster with coach bordenet..

Barrett was a three year starter and twice named an all- conference selection..

He is walking-on to the purdue men's basketball program in the coming year..

Daniel roach helped lead the knight's football program to a state title last fall..

He played center field for bordenet's ballclub..

Roach will walk-on with the purdue football team.

Kyle onken pitched and played right field for the knights..

Onken plans on entering the pre-med program at indiana university..

Dakota skees served as a designated hitter and was set to serve as team's starting catcher this season..

Kees will attend purdue..

Jake benson pitched and played all over the infield during his time at c-c..

Benson is currently undecided on where he will attend school ..

But he plans on continuing his baseball career at the next level..

Noah weirchuck pitched and played right field..

Weirchuck is headed to purdue..

And finally pete spencer served as a dh, played first base, and saw time at second base..

Spencer is still deciding on where he will go to college ..

According to bordenet ..

His seven seniors are leaving gordon leming field in a better place..

Tim bordenet: there is no doubt, it's better because of what they have done and even thought we didn't get to have a season this year, they showed great leadership in the off-season and they lead by their work ethic and how they approached the game day-in and day-out.

And obviously they were very successful on the field but they are great people and showed great sportsmanship at all times and that's what i am really pud about.
