Food City donates a big check from their tornado relief program.
Way for tornado victims, thanks to food city and the salvation army of greater chattanooga.
More than 200 thousand dollars will now be added to relief efforts.
Food city hosted a fundraising campaign to help storm victims in chattanooga.
The grocery retailer kicked off the campaign with a 50 thousand dollar donation, and several of their partners made contributions, as well.
Customers were also able to donate money.
I think we all know the devastation that hit chattanooga and the north georgia area.
To work with our customers and our partners to be able to come up with 261,000 dollars in this five day period is pretty remarkable."
