Restaurants gearing up to reopen for dine-in

Saw a lot more businesses with "open" signs---- especially restaurants getting ready to bring back dine- in--- ((nat/ nats of slicing cucumbers)) owner on the phone saying: not dining today, we will be dining tomorrow starting at 6am&.

Sot(susie and mike roberts, owner of rockin "r" restaurant): today, i get to order for real and we're expecting to be busy this weekend, starting tomorrow.

After closing their doors for over a month--- owners of rockin "r" restaurant--- susie and mike roberts---are ready wait on folks again.

Sot(susie roberts): very excited, very excited.

Relived.

We're just excited that we have a definite date to go on and something to plan on.

They had to lay off all their employees---but have brought them back on board for their reopening friday---- sot(susie and mike roberts): it's also an excitement of them wanting to come back for one and being a part of this and having the excitement to get to come back to work.

They're most excited to welcome back their customers---- sot(ane rhodes, server at rockin r restaurant): it's going to be great to see the regulars come in&you know it really is.

It's pretty amazing, to be on shut down for a whole two months, and getting back to normal as whatever that's going to be.

It's been going really good for us with to-go order and the deliveries.

The restaurant has been in "business" for only two weeks--- they say they're opening their doors this coming monday--- since they still have to hire staff--- sot: we're starting fresh, so we don't have any employees so we have to get back to doing interviews, hiring, so it's going to be a little bit of a challenge because we don't have any employees yet.
