Social businesses like gyms, camps, and bars are now allowed to reopen here in California

Starting this Friday you can visit your favorite watering hole again.

The California Department of Public Health said that’s when bars can reopen.- Quackers

She joins us live at quackers lounge on east avenue.

Mackenzie, how will they make this inherently social setting -- a safe one?

Hayley, i spoke the bar manager at quackers lounge and he says they plan to limit space at the bar - once they're allowed to open it.

Nat shaking drink it's not just about limiting space to keep customers and employees safe sot jessica hyatt- hostess "we got this new restaurant menus, we spray them between every use it takes 1 minute for the spray to dry, there is stickers on the floor for every 6 feet there's one here to keep them away from my hostess spot and outside we have more stickers to back up the line especially us employees we don't congregate in any areas," right now - quackers is open as a restaurant only -.

"you still have to order food you can't just come in as a bar, we have to follow the rules," at least until friday.

Broll over "when we first opened we were limiting the amount of drinks, we have certain amount of people on each shift so people don't have to bus their own table or touch anything else, we still make you order food per drinks but we don't limit the amount of drinks," nat shaking drink tara simpson tends bar at quackers.

Nat nat shaking drink "our regulars are really wanting the barstools to open up because they have been coming here for 20 years sitting at the bar rolling dice, sitting here having drinks after golf, so im pretty sure the day were allowed to open the bar back up that were going to open it up," stand up quackers expanded their seating into the parking lot..

Building this patio that takes up atleast four parking spots so that they make sure their guests are maintaining social distancing.

Simpson says like other bars- they are sanitizing everything and keeping things like salt pepper and other condiments off the table to limit customer contact.

Simpson says the patio is dog friendly and they are hoping to get misters outside there as well.
