Rihanna, Lizzo and More Sign Open Letter Demanding Police Reform As widespread protests continue around the country against police violence, some of music’s biggest celebrities have also joined the call for reform.

Over 300 artists, including Rihanna, Lizzo, Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish have signed an open letter to the New York Police Department demanding change.

Megan Thee Stallion, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato and Migos were also among those that put their name behind the letter.

The letter calls for the repeal of statute 50-A, a law that keeps police personnel’s disciplinary records hidden from the public.

Having access to these records is an “indispensable step” in holding law enforcement officers accountable for their actions, says the open letter.
