Gyms are given the green light to reopen today in minnesota at a quarter capacity.

Kimt news 3's annalise johnson is checking in with a local health club.

If you're a member ?

"* you're likely used to entering through these doors.

Until further notice ?

"* those doors are staff?

"*only and you'll ned to enter through this way instead.

That's because ?

"* as part of its preparedness plan ?

"* the rac is only allowing members on a reservation basis.

They line up here in this long hallway before they get sanitized and sent on their way to work out.

Members must have a reservation and a new group can come in every 90 minutes ?

"* with 30 minutes of down time for staff to sanitize the entire club.

General manager brent frueh (free) tells me the staff are giddy to welcome back members.

Even before governor walz announced gyms would be allowed to open ?

"* the rochester athletic club was prepping and speaking to other health clubs around the country to develop a plan.

Right now, we're gonna open up and we're gonna learn.

We're going to talk to members and hear how things are going and hear how we're doing, make tweaks if we have to tweak and just make sure we're listening to work out here ?

"* you can't have any symptoms and you must wipe down equipment before and after use.

Masks are highly encouraged ?

"* but not mandatory.

"* i saw just about everyone enter the facility with a mask on ?

*- but most people took it off to work out.
