Funeral held for motorcyclist killed in crash

Family and friends mourned.... and celebrated today at the funeral of a motorcyclist hit and killed by a car last week in lexington.

Daezon morgan's death monday has become a focus of racial justice protesters in lexington.

They say the white driver accused of hitting him...matthew starling...would've received harsher treatment had he been black.

Police released the timeline of their investigation and other similar cases...saying they're following a standard procedure.

According to officers, starling was driving under the influence a week ago when he tried to turn onto preston road...and crashed into morgan as he was driving his bike inbound on richmond road.

This afternoon, family took their last look at morgan...before closing his casket.

No more suffering.

No more discrimination.

No more racism.

None of that.

Police...none of that.

He's home with his father now.

Family members say morgan was a wonderful father...and his widow says she wants everyone to know her husband's name...and that his life mattered.
