School officials are investigating claims of a racist Snap Chat video.

Two students have already been expelled from school activities.

Are in the hot seat, after being accused of posting a racist snapchat video.

Chickamauga city schools superintendent melody day issued a statement saying, quote, "we're trying to gather information and determine all the participants-- some of whom are our students, concerning this unfortunate incident."

Ringgold high's principal tells news 12 the school will not tolerate this behavior.

This morning we identified two students that were involved.

Those students were immediately dismissed from current and future participation in ringgold high school sports.

Because this behavior does not represent the character we expect from our athletes.

An investigation is also underway to determine the school related discipline according to the catoosa county student handbook."
