From the news channel two alert desk this morning... overnight... police confirm with news channel two that a rome man has died following a motorcycle crash in the town of camden.

He allegedly crashed into another motorcyclist.... and that man was air lifted to a syracuse hospital with what they're calling, life- threatening injuries.

It happened before 7 last night in the area of river road in the town of camden.

The oneida county sheriff's office says 65-year-old ronald secor, of rome was pronounced dead at the scene.

Secor was reportedly driving his motorcycle north on river road, when he collided into 55- year old steven mahana, of clay.

Mahana was said to be driving his motorcycle south on river road.

He was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

Mahana was driving in tandem with 57- year mary akshar, of fayetteville.

She was driving a separate motorcycle.

Akshar was treated and released on scene by e-m-s.

Accident reconstruction units are still investigating.

A cause has yet to be determined.
