Can take several weeks.

C-s-x recently started work on about a dozen railroad crossings in the downtown terre haute area..

Some of the tracks are open again.

But some folks have questions.

They're unhappy with the work that was left.

News 10's jada huddlestun joins us now live near 17th and hulman.

She shares frustrations from a local resident.

Patrece..

These tracks are just one of a dozen c-s-x is working on.

They're working to repair the cross ties and repave the tracks.

You'll remember..

Work began on some of these tracks last week.

Since many of them have reopened..

Some of you at home have reached out to us with frustrations.

Residents are worried these tracks could cause damage to vehicles.

That's after they say the rail crossings were left a mess... still difficult to drive over..

And many with debris laying around.

One woman i spoke with says she hopes things are fixed soon.

"there's several people that are aggravated with them you know, wondering 'what in the world.

What have they done?

You know, we thought that this was going to be a good fix, that they would be better.'

I just hope they're coming back and going to follow up and finish the job, because it's frustrating."

Now..

I did reach out to c- s-x to see if these repairs are completed..

Or if they will return for more work.

As of air time..

I have not heard back.

Reporting live in terre haute.
