The vigo county school corporation has announced plans to return to school.

And... it involves a plan that could allow "your student" to learn from home.

///// //////// today, the vigo county school corporation announced school will be starting on tuesday august 11th.

There will be in-person classes for students in all grades..

But, there's another option... a "virtual option."

The district is expanding the "vigo virtual success academy" to "all grades."

This is open to families who don't want to send their children to school due to the pandemic.

Families who are interested in going to online school this fall can fill out a form.

This will be a lasting option... //////// "this isn't just a pandemic option, this is an option for anybody who thinks a virtual uh education would be best for their child."

///////// school leaders are still developing a plan for a safe return.
