A group of designers named #scenechange are wrapping London theatres in pink tape today to "send a positive message of hope and visibility to the industry".
Many theatres are threatened with closure following months of lockdown due to the Covid pandemic.
Soutra Gilmore, one of the organisers, said there won’t be any theatre at Christmas “unless there’s some kind of support.” Footage was taken today (4 July) at the Harold Pinter Theatre in Central London.
