Old Forge busier than expected

Weekend.

Tourism officials didn't know what to expect with the coronavirus pandemic.

New channel two's gary liberatore has more for us tonight.

This is what we first saw as we entered old forge heading up from old forge...sunday morning...the adirondack rail bike....in an hour and a half...you go three miles into town...and three miles back.

The town did what it had to do...with their fireworks cancelled and concerts not allowed.... (mike farmer, town of webb tourism director) tc : 37:35 "so we put one of the most popular local bands on a pontoon boat and took it up the lakes, to fourth lake, to oldforge pond and came back, it went in terminally long but part of that was because the band was having such a great time, i thought look at what were getting from people, people see us at different places, they dont know have to threaten to one place."
