////// last week the fork in the road was out searching the wabash valley for the best burger.

They ask for you to email in your favorites, then they made stops at the top three voted locations.

Today they are crowning a champion for the fork in the road best burger in the wabash valley.

Hey everybody, mike and ross here wrapping up the best burger in the wabash valley, fork in the road week.

We are ready to crown a champion but before we bring her out i want to talk to mike just a minute about the three places we visited and what you liked about ewach one of them.

Yeah, new goshen pub, no strangers to us, we love the mushroom and swiss burger, it's great.

Big willy's townhouse was awesome, they had six signature burgers we treid all very very good.

And then uh.

The burger shack in casey illinois, it was a little unique, we hadn't heard of it .

Great food, the burgers were a little bit smaller as far as thin and crispy but really really good and really different.

Three great places .

We are going to bring in our champion, this is lisa from the new goshen pub, she's got that great burger right there.

Lisa what do you think make this thing so spectacular?

I think just that it's fresh ground beef hand pattied, and the fact that we have consistancy, everythings the same.

You know we strive to put out a good product and i think we do.

What's it mean to you to not only be nominated for the best burger in the wabash valley, but then to go up against two really good places and win the vote and the plaque on the wall and become fork in the road famous as we like to say.

It is just awesome, uh you know we've always said the community we live in is great, um...that has really expanded out though.

While we were doing carry out only we got people from everywhere coming in and eating, so it really means a lot to us.

Well here is the plaque, i'll give you that and i will take this.
