School athletes and coaches received the go-ahead for fall sports this week... but one area school district now dealing with a positive case of covid-19... kq2's chris roush joins us live in studio with more... alan... the clinton county health department received a report today... of a covid-19 positive student that attended a three-day wrestling camp hosted by cameron school district on july 7, 8, and 9... here is what we know from clinton county... the male student became symtompatic on the evening july 9th... because of wrestling being a contact sport and multiple students and staff, the department determined they were unable to adequately contact-trace close contacts to the exposure... for that reason, the department advises any student and staff who attended the camp that they may have been in close contact with the patient... and the department says they're at a higher risk of developing covd- 19... with all of that... health officials advise those who attended to voluntarily self-quartantine from this afternoon, when the notice went out, until july 23rd to reduce potential spread... anyone with questions is asked to contact the clinton county health departmetn at 816-539-2144... reporting live in studio... chris roush..
