TSC moving start date back, releases return to school guidelines

The notice says this extra time will allow for necessary changes to adjust schedules.

Corporation have made (several changes to their re- opening plans.

Marlee both tsc and west lafayette schools have pushed back their start dates to august 20th..

And each have also made several changes to their re-opening plans.

Tsc has now incorporated a mask mandate.

This means students, staff and visitors are required to wear a face covering.

Masks must be worn in school and on school buses.

There are exceptions for certain activities and those with disabilities or medical conditions.

Tsc encourages those who don't want to wear a masks to enroll for virtual learning.

The corporation has extended the deadline to july 29th for its virtual option.

Those students who do enroll in the virtual option (will be able to participate in extracurricular activities.

West lafayette schools changes are similar to tsc's.

They are also pushing their start date back to august 20th..

To better prepare for re- opening and they are extending the time parents have to register their children for online learning.

West lafayett parents will also have until wednesday july 29th so register their children for online learning... and kids who partake in virtual learning will also be able to partake in etra curriucular activities.

West lafayette schools did not provide a detailed break down of a mask policy however due to the governor eric holcombs executive order students will be required to wear masks in schools regardless of their school district.
