Two people were shot, one a 4-year-old child, and shots were fired in Cornhill from Thursday night to Friday morning.

Three separateshootings....two k ...including a four- year-old child.

Luckily the four year old was only shot in the hand.

Luke's hospital for the report of a man who had taken himself to the hospital with a gun shot wound to his abdomen.

Police say they found several 9- millimeter shell casings.

Then around 12:20 am....police were called to a scene just seven blocks away....to the100 d child shot in the hand.

Police say when officers arrived...the child had already been taken to the hospital.

The family at the hospital told police someone had driven by their home on gold street and fired a single shot, then ten minutes later...the same vehcile came by and fired several more shots, one struck the child in the hand.

Again, police say several 9-millimeter casings were located on gold street.

The child was transferred to a syracuse hospital to be treated.

Police say around the same time...another shots fired incident occurred on th800blockn west utica.

No injuries were reported at that scene, however police say several spent shell casings were located.

Police say they do not know if any of these incidents are related.
