Kezi 9 news reporter emma jerome joins us live to show us some of that generosity.

Over 200 evacuees have come to silke field between yesterday and today.

And if they need a place to go the red cross is here to help them out.

They have partnerships with multiple area hotels such as the comfort inn, the graduate, and the holiday in and are setting up families with free four night stays in those hotels.

They say after those four nights they hope theyll be able to extend those partnerships and offer more nights but at this point they just dont know a lot of local businesses have donated things like food, money, and clothes but there are also major names stepping up to the plate with a show of support for our community.

We have home depot which showed up with two caravans of not just supplies but volunteers to assist" dan isaacson is the director of this site and he says their volunteers are here to provide anyone with anything else they may need .

Isaacson says they are looking for mental health specialists who can come here and dedicate their time to help offer people counseling and support during this time if you need a shower, the y-m-c-a in eugene is open until 8 tonight.

They'll reopen tomorrow morning
