Miles-long queues and traffic on the M20 caused as a result of police rampingup checks at the port of Dover.
The enhanced security measures had beenrequested by counter-terrorism police due to "ongoing operational activity".The policing operation has now been stood down and border control checks arereturning to normal, according to police.
