A protest took place Thursday morning during the Butte County Public Health's weekly coronavirus briefing, with community members demanding businesses be allowed to reopen.

Right now in butte county -- people are flat- out frustrated -- over pandemic restrictions -- and now pushing local leaders to reopen.

All we can do is continue to ask our citizens to participate in the mitigation efforts.

I agr t - in i calls i agree agree t but this is reality we li local officials say they understand peoples frustrations but are following the guidelines set by the state.

As of right now we dont know how long it could take for butte to move to a less strict tier.
