Starkville’s Habitat for Humanity spread a labor of love to a special family on Friday.

Brought and is still bringing much hardship into our lives... today however, some can walk away a little brighter, as starkville's habitat for humanity was out putting in some labor of love to a special family... the non-profit organization partnered with mississippi state's maroon volunteer to create the 2020 maroon edition house.

According to construction manager for starkville habitat, john breazeal ( bra-zeal ), the maroon edition home begins construction every fall since 2009.

He said these homes receive funds from the university, along with extra hands to put the project together.

The owner of the home, chadrick robinson says he and his family are beyond grateful to the organization and students for all their hard work... "it's a blessing from god.

I mean, my wife, she's happy.

The kids, they're excited.

I mean, me, i'm excited, can't wait to get in.

We just appreciate habitat for helping us out with this."

Today, students worked with the owners of the home to put siding along the exterior of the house.
