Around 2-35 this afteroon.... albany police responed to a north bound amtrak train hitting a vehicle stuck on ellingson road.

Police found the car split in half and behm inside.

Officials say behm drove around the crossing gate and was hit by the train.

Eillingson road was shutdown for two hours while crews cleared the scene.
