Church in Guntown hosts a Drive-In movie

Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Guntown hosted a drive-in movie at Guntown Community Park

Church in guntown decided to to bring the community together by hosting a drive in movie.

Ebernezer missionary baptist church wanted a way to promote unity in the community.

Pastor stephen traylor says what started out as an idea fleshed out to an actual event.

People around the community came out to watch overcomer.

Some even came on their lawnmowers.

The church also handed out door prizes and popcorn.

"we know that people have been quarinted for the last seven to eight months, and they've been in the house.

We just wanted to give them a positive and clean experience so that they can come out and enjoy their families together."

Stephen traylor pastor "guntown is a real tight knit community and we've always got something going on in the park and we always like getting together.

And with cooler weather, getting the blankets out, getting the hot chocolate and watching the movie with everyone in guntown is just a fun thing to do."

William dallas participant pastor dallas is working with the city of guntown to continue to host events in the park anually and bi-annually.
