The endowment will go toward promoting opportunities for advanced learning and research in integrative healthcare.

The college will additionally seek to establish strong partnerships with local, regional, and national healthcare providers.

So it may begin with a series of certificates or minors for example in acupuncture studies, and may eventually transform into actual majors in integrative healthcare.

So we'll begin by supporting existing professions, and then see where it takes us.

College officials are planning on using existing space in the new science center on the utica campus, but are also focusing on facilities at the clark center which will be closer to the new downtown hospital.
