We begin in linn county where a 41 year old man from springfield -- was found dead of apparent gun shot wounds.

Just after 1 o clock yesterday afternoon -- dispatch recieved a report of a body found on a property --- in the 38 thousand block of densmore road -- near jefferson.
Deputies are*now conducting a homicide investigation.
The man has been identified as richard anderson.
And i got the chance to speak with his youngest*sister to find out who he really is.

"a good father a good brother um we love him very much" richard joseph anderson was one of four kids -- and lived in springfield his whole life.
He has three children -- all boys.
And although he's been in portland the past few months -- he always made it a priority to come back home.
'like a day or two ago he came to visit his son in springfield' but on saturday -- his youngest sister tera mullet -- got the worst phone call of her life.
'my mom called me i just balled my eyes out, because im just like why are you calling me this late, and she said its important and im like okay what happened' she learned her older brother had been shot and killed --- in a place that she's never heard of.
'i have no idea how he got there or why' all she knows is that -- a piece of her is gone.
'youre taking a part of not just me your taking my siblings, my aunts my uncles my grandma my mother youre taking a piece that we will never ever get back' but when i asked her who or*why -- she didn't have a clue.
'the only thing that came to mind was this was personal and that this person was very angry' tera says she wants justice.
'we definitely want answers we want to know why i want to know what was going on like why would you do this' but until that happens -- she wants people to know who her brother was.
