Sensex jumps 584 points to close at 51,025

Sensex was up 584 points in closing trade to 51,025, while Nifty settled at 15,098 on March 09.

SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Bank , ICICI Bank were among the top gainers.

However, Tata Steel, GAIL, Power Grid Corp were among the losers.
