This oddly satisfying timelapse shows British maths student Nathan Tozer completing one of the largest commercially made jigsaw puzzles at his home in Somerset.

The whopping puzzle is made up of 40,320 pieces, split into ten sections each of 4,032 pieces, and measures 6.8m x 1.9m.

"The immense feat took 180 hours and 19 minutes, with numerous more hours required to move the jigsaw about which in itself is an enormous logistical challenge," said Tozer.

The jigsaw, produced by Ravensburger, is called Making Mickey Magic, and is a collage of scrapbook pages that reflect on the life of Disney’s Mickey Mouse and his journey from the first sketches in 1930 to the household he is today.

For each section, he is first seen painstakingly sorting out the pieces into numerous small tubs, quickly followed by him whizzing around his puzzle table putting them into place.

After this, the puzzle sections are lifted up on a yellow fabric before being slotted underneath the table for safe storing.

After repeating this process 10 times, the different sections were ready to be slotted together in Tozer's garden so that the full puzzle could finally be revealed.

"What else better is there to do in lockdown!" joked Tozer.
