Turkish navy divers have safely detonated a stray sea mine in the Black Sea, off the coast of Kefken in Turkey’s northwest.
It is the third such incident in recent weeks.
The mine is suspected to have been placed on the north coast of the Black Sea as part of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
There are fears that more mines may have found their way into the area, posing a danger to shipping passing through the Bosporus, and local fishermen, who were the first to spot the explosive devices last month.
