Context: Ray J has claimed that Kris Jenner watched three sex tapes that he purportedly filmed with her daughter, Kim Kardashian, before hand-picking the one that would be publicly released.The exes, both 41, dated from 2002 to 2006 and reportedly filmed the sex tape during Kardashian's birthday celebrations in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in 2004.
It was released under the name Kim Kardashian, Superstar in 2007.
Over the years, there have been persistent rumors that matriarch Jenner orchestrated the release of Kardashian's sex tape in a bid to boost her profile.During a segment in which Jenner sat for a polygraph test, she was asked whether she had a hand in the release of the tape, sparking a gasp among those on the show.
"It's OK, no, no," Jenner answered.
After the man running the test confirmed that she was telling the truth, she said: "We cleared that up." However, Ray J disputed the events and shared a series of Instagram posts over the weekend, in which he threatened to sue talk show host James Corden, as well as Jenner and Kardashian, for defamation.
In a 44-minute video posted on the image-sharing platform, the "One Wish" singer, real name William Ray Norwood Jr., said that he and Kardashian shot one tape in Mexico and another in Santa Barbara, California.
He also claimed there was a third tape labeled "Intro."
