Duboise’s false allegation led to a year long ordeal that led to the loss of Adam’s Air Force career, more than $350,000 is legal fees, and numerous death threats to himself and his wife.
Charges were dismissed in 2018 and the state of New Mexico has expunged the arrest, but the Lowther family remains traumatized as it seeks to hold Calvary Christian Academy, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, and the Children’s Youth and Family Department accountable for their criminal conduct.
