Established in 1852 by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert to promote art and design education, the Victoria and Albert Museum is known as one of the world's largest decorative art and design museums. With its rich collection, the Victoria and Albert Museum exhibits various art forms and design examples ranging from prehistoric times to the modern age.
The museum houses approximately 2.3 million objects in areas such as furniture, fashion, ceramics, glass, jewellery, painting, sculpture, textiles and photography.
