A US destroyer, the USS Carney, successfully intercepted and shot down drones and an anti-ship ballistic missile launched by Yemen's Houthi rebels.
The attack, which took place on Tuesday, aimed at the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer that has been actively participating in the American campaign against Houthi rebels involved in attacks related to Israel's conflict with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
