But first, we start with waay 31's rodneya ross.

She is live with details on a new drive-thru testing site in north alabama.

Rodneya?

Right now -- i'm at the drive- thru testing site on governors drive that opened over a month ago.

They're starting to see a decline in patients -- while another drive-thru clinic is opening up in lawrence county.

Starting today -- people can go to the lawrence county health department for coronavirus testing.

There are some criteria to be able to be tested.

You must be at least 10 years old you have to have symptoms such as a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or a pre-existing condition.

Anyone 65 years or older, a healthcare worker, or someone associated with a long-term health care facility are also able to be tested and lastly -- you can be tested if your symptoms are getting worse.

If you meet the criteria for testing, you're asked to give the lawrence county health department a call to schedule an appointment and pre-register.

You can find their phone number on our website -- waay- tv-dot-com.
