Erlanger Children's Hospital has seen a jump in the use of telemedicine by patients since the pandemic.

Telemedicine is taking the state by storm during the wake of covid-19.

Telemedicine provides increased access to medical care through virtual doctor's appointments.

In current day, this helps people that are afraid to come to the hospital or doctor's office due to fears of contracting covid-19 to still get the medicial attention and help they need.

We spoke with the ceo of erlanger children's hospital, don mueller, who describes how telehealth is the best thing that's happened because of covid-19.

"we've seen more than a thousand pediatric visits via telemedicine across all of our service lines, so there's a lot of health care that can take place via telemedicine.

It's very efficient, parents can stay at the house, kids don't have to miss school if they were in school if they were in school."
