That's great for local businesses, but should we be concerned about contact tracing."

Jodi i mean yeah that presents a big problem.

We have people coming here like they are from places lke washington and california.

Ginny i think travel is not the issue.

I think the issue is that we all observe those guidelines.

It's been more than two months since restrictions were first put into place because of the coronavirus.

People are itching to get out.

Governor brown says phase 2 really relies on contact tracing.

Ginny i defintely think the tracing is important and i think as i said based on what i can see i think we have been doing a good job yeah.

But what about when people come into a place like gold beach from out of town?

Jodi it's a double edge sword.

We don't know how we are going to be able to track those people down.

Jodi fritts is the city administrator for gold beach.

She is concerned this will bring more cases of the virus.

Jodi which has been a frusteration because we are rural and maybe that's part of it.

People are thikning they areoing to avoid the larger areas.

Which if you follow that logic it's not very good for us.

Ginny i think the public health agencies are working closely together.

Ginny williams the ceo of curry health network doesn't believe that will be a problem as ng as people are practing the guidelines.
